When will I receive my Order?
If you need your cable quickly you've come to the right place. We ship same day as ordered, in most cases. Cutoff time is 6:00pm EST, 3PM PST Mon-Fri. Most customers receive their orders in 3-4 business days. Expedited shipping methods (UPS Next Day, 2 Day Air and 3 Day Select) are also available. We'll even send you a tracking number showing your scheduled delivery date.

There's pratically zero chance of credit card thief when you buy from us. Through our merchant account provider, Website Payment Pro (formally owned by Verisign), we only receive the last 4 digits of your credit card number and we DO NOT receive your security code. We're unable to add even 1 CENT to your total! Rest assured your card info is safe with us.
Why are your cables so inexpensive?
Since we are a small, tightly run, Internet based company specializing in network cabling we don't have some of the financial headaches (overhead) that larger stores must endure. We're without a brick and mortar store which requires all those excess expenses such as cashiers, added healthcare costs, parking facilities, excess floor space, employee theft, and security. You get the idea...so enjoy the savings!!

If "Standard Shipping" is chosen on website we will ship based on these rules:
USPS 2-3 Day Priority Mail for packages less than 3lbs. This amounts to about 115ft of Cat5e cable/90ft Cat6 cable (packages under 1lb are shipped via 1st Class USPS Mail).
UPS Ground for packages weighing more than 3lbs (116ft of Cat5e cable/91ft Cat6 cable and above).
Can you ship Priority Mail, 3 Day Select, UPS 2 Day Air or Overnight?
We do ship smaller packages of under 3lbs (115ft Cat5e/ 90ft Cat6 of total cable) 2-3 Day USPS Priority Mail.
1 Day UPS Overnight Air , 2 Day UPS Air, 3 Day UPS Select are now incorporated in our website's checkout.
If you are hesitant about using us for an expedited method you are more than welcome to call or email us to inquire if we are able to ship your specific product out that day. Email us at Sales@Cat5eCableGuy.com for specifics on either Priority Mail, 3 Day Select, 2 Day Air or Overnight shipping.
Can I use my FedEx or UPS account to pay shipping charges?
We no longer allow the use of third party shipping.
We do not ship via FedEx.
How much for Shipping and Handling?
At any time you may add all you items to the shopping cart, enter your zip code then click on the button "Estimate Shipping". Click on the button don't just hit your "ENTER" key. This will display the costs all of our shipping methods: Standard Shipping, 3 Day UPS Select, 2 Day Air, and 1 Day Air. You will choose the actual shipping method later once you proceed to "Secure Checkout".

These are prices are for STANDARD SHIPPING for the 48 lower states.
2-3 Day Priority mail for under 115ft Cat5e/ 90ft Cat6.
UPS Ground for all packages over these amounts.
If you need you larger packages sooner 3 Day Select, 2-Day UPS and 1-Day UPS Overnight are now available during checkout. Please note: Some items may not be readily available to ship 3 Day Select, 2 Day Air and Overnight deliveries. Days are counted only for business days...not weekends/holidays.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?
We pride ourselves on quick turn around. We almost always ship same day, Monday through Friday if the order is place by 3:00pm PST (6:00pm EST). Therefore, you should receive your order in about 4 business days. Many customers will receveice their small packages in 2-3 days!

Do you Guarantee you will ship out today?
Although we advertise "Same Day Shipping" on the website, this should in NO WAY be construed as a guarantee of same day shipping. It is rarity that we miss an order and not the same day, Monday through Friday, if the order is place by 3:00pm PST (6:00pm EST). Expedited shipping methods, such as Next Day Air, 2 Day Air, and 3 Day Select will always receive first priority.
What is your cut off time for shipping?
Generally its 3:00pm PST (6:00pm EST). Many items may ship after that time. Never have we delayed an order to go the following day just because it's past 3:00PM. If we can ship it...we ship it. Email or call us if you require info about an item shipping after 3:00pm PST.
Will you ship outside the Continental US?
We ship only to USA. Hawaii and Alaska have same rates up to 3lb package...115ft cat5e/ 90ft Cat6 of cable. Please email us if you are purchasing more. Please email us at Sales@Cat5eCableGuy.com with your zip code so we can calculate your shipping charge.
What about Returns and Cancelled Orders?
You are welcome to cancel or return any unused item up to 30 days after purchase. However, we cannot return your shipping and handling charges, in any case. You will also be charged a 20% restocking fee.
You are also responsible for any return shipping charges.
Due to fraud attempts the return transaction is not complete until we have inspected the merchandise and deem it new and
unused. Any attempt to send used merchandise will be considered gift and no further action will be taken.
Orders can be cancelled with no penalty to you up until the time we apply postage and send you an email confirmation that the package is being shipped.
What if Item is received defective?
Please contact us within 1 month of purchase if product is defective.
Disclaimer: If product is deemed defective upon arrival we are not responsible for any fees above the original purchase price of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to test product before under going installation.
